Even Saints Don’t Live Forever
Posted on February 08, 2004 in LifeYesterday my grandfather passed away. About a week ago he was taken to the hospital and his lung cancer has spread to his brain. After a long week of him struggling to breathe he finally gave in and let go last night. Edward A. Zito died at the age of 78.
This is a great loss in my life, a void that’s going to be hard to fill. I have been very fortunate to this point, not too many people have such a great person in their life like I did. All I can remember is all the great things he has shown me over the years and to live my life the way he would have wished me to.
I appreciate all the sentiments everybody has shown me over the past couple of weeks, it continues to show me how blessed I am with my great family and group of friends.
I will post the obituary and related information here during the week if anybody is interested.
Again, thank you all.
Now back to regularly scheduled programming.
