familyGuy.gifIt doesn’t get more ironic than this. I planned to write a lighthearted story about the hopeful return of “The Family Guy” to television, pointing out my recent fascination with it. So I opened goggle, the ultimate reference of the entire universe, to find an image to use. I had to take a double take as the top news item read "The Family Guy Coming Back” Can It be? Is it really? IT IS! For those readers living under a rock that have no clue what “The Family Guy” is , It’s a animated series that ran on Fox for four seasons 1999-2003. It’s ingenious, sarcastic, simply hilarious and best of all based out of Quahog, Rhode Island. Although Quahog dosent actually exist its littered with references to this area. The creator, Seth McFarland, graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and I guess took a liking to Providence as most visitors do. Anyways for what’s its worth this GREAT show will be back on air in 2005. The cartoon network is running repeats now, and you can always get the first four seasons on DVD which Jon did, and I have been enjoying for the past month or so. I guess I can considered my soul sold, because I remember uttering “I would sell my soul to the devil to see new episodes” to Jon not more than two weeks ago. So I’m going to hell, But I’ll get to watch new episodes of the family guy while I’m there. An acceptable deal.
