Props go out to my boys ... State of Corruption [SOC], as they picked up this year's Providence Phoenix BEST LOUD ACT award. SOC has been kicking ass and taking names for a long time. They helped to pioneer a genre of music that has influenced many bands you hear on a daily basis.

They are great musicians, great friends and one ill crew.

Their new album, simply entitled "State of Corruption", is completed and will be released upon your unsuspecting asses shortly. I have heard it, and you aren't ready.
