Vegas Part Deux: Another Man Down
Posted on August 02, 2004 in LifeI am shocked and amazed that I was able to get up for my train this morning. “Vegas part deux: Another man down” ™ [Mike Lepre Industries] is now just a smoldering pile of memories.
I can say without a shred of doubt that it was one of the top three best things I have ever experienced. It ranked right up there with being born … which was pretty kick-ass too. Thanks Mom.
I know for a fact that I was not alone in this opinion, if there was a hand guide for throwing the ultimate bachelor party in Las Vegas ... it would resemble our trip greatly.
There was a new story to be told every 10 minutes from somebody. In fact there are so many stories that it is not possible to cover them all in one page here, and defiantly not only by me. So the next few posts you see/read here will most likely pertain to Vegas 04’.
I’m sure the other guys will have no problem chiming in with comments about drunken nights in spent in Sin City.
Stories about how I exclaimed a waitress during full inebriation mode that I wanted my waffles with “that shit on them that I like” and also how a odor full vagrant stole my beer, then continued to drink it in front of me right before stumbling away with his pants around his ankles.
If pictures are worth 10,000 words, then I have close to a million words for you. Hopefully after getting unpacked and reorganized tonight, I can work on them for tomorrow.
I’m also collecting camera phone pictures from the other guys as sometimes they have better stories behind them. Mail them here fellas’ sincity04@ericwebster.net
I have never tested the limits of the human body like I did this weekend, and this was my 3rd trip to Vegas! We landed Thursday afternoon after waking up at 4:00am and I didn’t lay down for my first nap until ~10:30am the next day. (30.5 hours)
In my book, everybody was an MVP. Each stepping it up in their own way to show Ray (the Bachelor) the best time ever.
Red Bull (liquid-speed) and Vodka were the official sponsors of the trip. Without them the 10:00pm - 6:00am parties followed by the 6:00am – 11:00am gambling experiences would have ended way too premature.
I am beyond tired – zombified would be a better description.

i had a blast! thank you guys! cant wait to do it again! and again and again..........
I agree, awesome trip! Who's the next sucker to get married and give us an opportunity to go back to Sin City? My ears are still ringing from all the slot machines, so I may as well get back inside a casino...
At one point midgets dressed like KISS took the stage and I looked around and said. "Now what?" On Friday night i drank a Red Bull and then followed that with 9 Red Bull and Vodkas. My kidney actually hurt me. The following night i took an ephedrine and couldnt stop dancing, I actually had to stand in the shower at 3:30 am and soak in cold water and drink water , just to make sure i didnt die.
Oh, and I loved every minute of it. By the way, Do i get the MOST IMPROVED FLYER award????
I think I left my shoes in vegas...oh, no, wait...they are on my feet. Boy, am I tired. It was well worth it! These f****n guys ova herre
Yeah Mike, you get most improved flyer. Although the improvement may mostly be in the drugs you used .. you did seem pretty “sedated” while flying.
I will say I did enjoy a flight to Vegas lacking the Lepre girlish scream when we hit turbulence.
Sedated. Yes. Very nice. ANd you heard the Lepre scream when we shared that room on... ooops sorry dude i forgot that you wanted to omit that.
cheers! here is a toast to...ummm...mike you take this one...hehehehe
1 thing i learned in vegas is that you cant put your beer down anywhere without some random bum picking it up and drinking it!
