Posted on September 07, 2004 in LifeWith Labor Day now past us, that means that breezy fall nights are only weeks away.
Weather like this reminds me of my teenage years walking to school with my brothers and friends. New clothes on my back (because I was fortunate), new 3 subject notebooks and renewed enthusiasm for all that was the public educational system.
It’s funny how much things change in only a handful of years. Fall now means to me Football, cool fall nights, perfect for sleeping, and Sam Octoberfest.
Octoberfest is hands down my favorite beer of all time. I’m not too sure when my affinity for the dark wholesome autumn brew began, all I know is I can never have enough.
What is your favorite Beer/Drink?

This is absolutly the best beer ever made. With Trinity Brewhouse's Octoberfest a close second.

i have already killed a 12 pack of the Sam....yummy
schlafly pilsner (local st. louis beer) has been my favorite for the last month or two, and it seems even better on a nice faux-autumn evening.
I'm a big fan of Guiness. But I've found that this beer should not be consumed on a daily basis, but instead only for special occasions and "treats". Following in on the heels of last years Beer Festival. My new favorite beer is Smuttynose Brown Dog beer. Absolutley fabulous. It's hard to get by highly recommended.
Fasad, I too am a big fan of the Smutty Nose. You can get it on Thayer st (Providence). At the Liquor store on Meeting Street .. next to Via Via .. little pricy .. but good beer aint cheap.
