After watching the sickening press conference last night where Pedro put on his new Mets uniform, I have lost all “RESPECT” for Pedro.
If he was trying to gain respect from the fans, he surely has a funny way of doing so. Pedro’s definition of “respect” is much different than any other English speaking person in the world, Respect isn’t money. Respect is taking a home town discount to help your team repeat a World Series victory seeing you already have 80 million in the bank.
Be man enough to admit that “I think im going to blow out my arm in less than two years, so I want an airtight 4 year contract so I can sit on my ass eating a steady diet of cheetos and Yoohoo, while collecting millions”
I can officially say I never want to hear Pedro address the “Fans of Boston” again. Good luck with the whole first to worst thing Peety. If Boston “will always be your home”, consider yourself evicted by a 40 year old dickbag landlord that still lives with his mother, has a mullet and is wearing a ratty wife beater with mustard/sweat stains on it!
With Hudson going to the Braves and Johnson possibly signing with the Yankees, the “Ye Ole’ Free Agent pitching well” is starting to dry up. I don’t think you can lose Pedro and Lowe, then replace them with an fat old bald guy and expect to be a contender, even if that guy looks exactly like “woolie willie”.
Renteria was no doubt a great defensive/offensive acquisition.. but a great short stop isn’t going to catch balls whizzing over the Green Monster.
It was hard watching Pedro put on that new cap, at this point I think we need to believe Theo’s got a plan. I have faith that there is a master plan in the works here.
Come on Theo don’t let us down.

SIckening, you guys are sickening. Look Pedro has ALWAYS been a jerk. End of story. Don't tell me you didn't know that before. You just looked the other way because he won games. He's the most self absorbed person thats younger than Ricky Henderson. As far as Renteria is concerned, where's the love for Orlando?? Dude, he was en fuego in the playoffs and he's also sick on defense. Why get rid of someone like that and sign aomeone like him but that you havent seen fit in and contribute. I think thats stupid. You guys are gonna sign Matt Clement, mark my words. Hes young, really good, and throws crazy heat. Thats going to be a great pick up. But to be honest, I think Henry is pulling another Marlins with you guys in a weird way. I dont think hes going to try to spend with the Yankees this year. You guys always sell out, and people are pacified right now with the championship. I think he justs wants to contend and make people happy and save a bunch of money.
You know, people really wonder about me when I roll out of my cubicle laughing.
Losing Lowe and replacing w/Wells is fine by me. Lowe is a head case, you can't look at his playoff run when making the choice to let him go. A possible 8 million over two years is a good deal for us.
As for Orlando there has been rumors he isn't a treat in the clubhouse. Edgar also provides a little more offense. There is also the possibility Edgars swing would allow him to utilize the Green Monster more than Orlando. Edgar is just as good if not better on D.
Im not impressed w/Clement right now he is a 3rd - 4th starter in the rotation.
I really hope I get listed as a google top search for "woolie willie" that would make my day.
I tried finding a picture of good ole willie so I can make a montage with David Wells, if anyone comes across one .. please let me know!!
Want more reason to hate Pedro. I cannot believe he is such a baby. He says he doesn't want to be #2 behind Schilling. MAN! Good Luck NY.
