This may be a shock to you, but I think I have spent a good 25% of my life on a computer and exploring the bowels of the internet. During that time I have seen some shit which normal people should never see and I also encountered a lot of little annoying things on the internet. The most annoying offender by far is the f-in login box.

I must have at least 10,000 usernames and passwords out there for random sites all over the internet. Not only can I never remember them, but you spend 10 minutes creating a login for something you really don’t care about.

Pretty much any site with anything worthwhile to offer (content) requires you to “log in” before using their shitty services. For some services like Yahoo, utility companies, Gmail and my bank’s website this is understandable and useful.

The annoying part is the overwhelming mass of shitty websites which require you to login before you can read an article that your buddy just sent you or that you stumbled on via a link.

They do this just so they can say “Hello, King Webster” [this is the name I give all internet/mail order companies so I know when I get spam at home or via email just to trash it without opening] only to email you shit that you don’t care about later or worse sell your information to a 3rd party company (evil spammers).

To those sites I say no longer! “Fight the power”, “Fuck tha police” and “Let me clear my throat”

Introducing Bugmenot.com -- a free service (which you do not have to log in for either) which will provide you with any login to almost any site out there. All you have to do is go to Bugmenot.com and enter the URL of the site which is asking you to login and it will spit back a valid username and password.

Additionally if you’re in the 8% of the smart internet population whom uses Firefox (hint: go get Firefox you idiot) there actually is a plug-in that you can easily download and install which will allow you to just right click on the login box in question and it will fill it in for you! BRILLIANT!

I haven’t tested this theory out yet, but they probably store access for some porn sites too .. so there you go Big Buddy, free porn. You happy now?
