Maybe a little dramatically overstated, but could the sox be playing any worse right now? Well I guess they could be, but they are technically no longer in the playoffs this year after having a commanding lead slip away in the AL East.

They have two whit hot teams chasing them (the Indians and Yankees) and it’s not looking good for the 5+ ERA Red Sox as they have been seemingly “coasting” for a solid 2 weeks now.

Its been stated many teams that batting wins games, but pitching wins championships.. and how true that looks right now. In this years off season the Sox GM played pitcher musical chairs and its now proving to a very risky move.

Shilling, Arroyo, Clement and the awful bullpen need to pick up some of the slack that the batters have been giving them all year. Otizzle only has about another 30 or 40 homeruns in him for this season, Damon is hurt and Renteria just plain sucks ass.

How truly sad is it that my poor dead grandmother could beat Manny to 1st base – its ridiculous. If Manny put half the effort he does into goofing off and having a good time into baseball he could easily be the League MVP.

This is typical Sox baseball and the sky is now officially falling. Time to dust off those Red Sox survival kits – they worked last year.
