It’s a Thursday 4 pack. Enjoy

Patriots
Sundays have recently been relabeled as my favorite day of the week. It’s a day where I can get together with all my friends and have some laughs. Sometimes it isn’t as easy as others because the Patriots are being shellacked by some high school football team.

I think the Patriots finally came to a part in the mountain that is too steep to climb .. but the sun is starting to peek through just a little bit. This year the Patriots were decimated by massive injuries to their defense with the losses of Crennel, Bruschi, Seymour, Harrison, Johnson, Poole and others.

They are still showing signs of life, sometimes weaker than others but still is fun to watch. Hey you cant win them all – can you? The ride isn’t close to over – not as long as you have Brady at the helm.

Jager Shot count for the season to date: 17

Bruschi
A hot topic if you listen to AM radio at all is the opinion whether or not that Bruschi is making a life-threatening move by coming back to the sport he loves.

My opinion is that I am not a doctor and Bruschi is a smart family man. If he has sound medical advice -- who are we to thwart what could become the best comeback story of all time. Surely the patriots could use their best defensive player right now – but I highly doubt that Bruschi would be coming back if there was any life threatening repercussions for doing so.

Truth be told -- I can’t wait to see #54 mugging people in the backfield again. One of the biggest differences of this team to last few is the fact that they don’t get many turnovers (or give them for that matter) and Bruuuuu-schi will surely remedy that.

That is the “big play” that we have yet to see from this team – but I highly doubt that drought will continue for long.

I hope he makes his team debut at the Monday night game vs. Indy that I will be going to – Thanks to Derey!

Jager
Not Jagemiester – that beloved liquid refreshment that I crave so often – but rather a new dog has landed in the house. Jager (which is German for “Hunter”) is a 7 month old adopted black lab with attitude fitting of his name.

Pictures are coming soon of this little rambunctious new dog-mate as soon as we can get him to sit still for a few moments.

PDA
I decided that I could not be geeked out in my own home by my roommate whom purchased a new Motorola Razor – so I picked up a new Treo 650. I am now learning the joys of Bluetooth and Palm OS in an attempt to tout my geekyness to everyone.

It does not make an attempt to replace my digital camera (which is dead) or my iPod but it does a fantastic job at helping me keep my life somewhat organized.

Whichever company that finally blends a cellphone, true digital camera, iPod and Wireless PDA will make a lot of money and I bet we are only about 2 years away from that.
