My Name is Bret Sullivan and I crapped out my penis.

Well you probably are wondering what is going on here and the answer is quite simply things are changing. Not only on this site but there are major changes going on with my life right now too. I have spent the past month working my ass off on a few things and none is less important than the announcement that I’m finally moving to Boston.
After living in Providence on the East Side near Thayer St. for about 6 years, I’m currently packing my bags and headed north to Boston. I have had the absolute best time of my life here at my current house and I would be remorseful if I didn’t thank all those who made it possible.
I have made so many friends while living at “Rauriston St.” it’s unfathomable how lucky I am and I am extremely sad to be leaving the town and friends which has treated me so well for so long. There have been many parties, “pant’s off Sundays”, laughs and beers it’s hard to think that I would ever leave. That’s partly the reason for leaving because I could do that for the rest of my life and probably shouldn’t -- because believe me I didn’t want to –- it’s just the best decision I can make.
In no particular order I need to thank; my Family (Joe, Sah, Jeff, Mom, Dad, Aunty Paula, Momma C, Steve and Emilio), Lisa, Rich “Fire Crotch” McCaskill, Derrek “Big Buddy” Dipeitro, Pat and Jill Austin “Pill”, Joe "Pele" Ponte, Mike Demotte, Crissy-Tina Crow, Shawn “Good Times, Great Oldies” Picard, Dave and Sarah Evans, Dave “DG” Gentile, Jon and Jager, Todd “Solomon-stien”, Jesse “Little Buddy” Lepre, Apollo, C-Sparl, Stu, Al, Mike, Paul, Ray, Ricci, Jenny, Mario, Fred and the rest of the SOC/Shed crew, “Whammy Bar” Comella, Rob “Jamal” McCaskill, Elsa, Jim, Chuck, Bruce, Mike and the other Mediaweave gang, Chez, Skinner, Shag, Erin, Alison, Sarah, Mark and the Citadel Guys, Steve “Chris Griffin”, Lou, Baker, Mike and all the others whom I failed to mention whom have changed me (for the better or worse) for the rest of my life – you will never be forgotten.
So by now your probably wondering what is up with the title of this story? Well during my 6 or so years living here I have visited pretty much every bar and restaurant in Providence at least once. (Yeah I’m proud of that – probably shouldn’t be, but I am.) This combined with my drinking habits also means that I have taken a piss in just about every place in that fair city. I have seen many a bathroom scrawling in my time and none speak to you quite like Bert Sullivan and his problem.
While visiting the best Mexican joint this far north of uhh .. Mexico, Tortilla Flats, you at some point will stumble to the bathroom after your eighth “Cervesa” while there at the urinal doing your “biz-ness”, search the walls for this epic engraving.
My Name is Bret Sullivan and I crapped out my penis- Bret Sullivan
I will sorely miss my favorite Rhode Island establishments like the Wickenden Pub, The Muse Tavern, Liquid Lounge, Ri-Ra, Dave and Busters, Hope Street Pizza, McFaddens and of course Tortilla Flats on Hope St. But of course I’m going to miss more than just a few bars in Providence there just the easiest to point out without getting all sappy .. I’m going to miss what I have called my life for the past six plus years because its been great.
This isn’t a goodbye – Just an “I’ll see you later” and of course all you guys have a place to crash in Boston if ever needed.
More on the new site in a bit -- first things first.
Cheers.

Hey bud,
Sorry I couldn't make it to the farewell bash - hope it was good!Congratulations and best of luck in the new digs. I like the new skin, and I especially like the title on the About page. :-)
Yo Web,
Congrats on the move! You just added like 2 hours to your day.
(no more commute)
When is your housewarming?
I'm liking the smokin' new design -- nice wipe effect on the header image. I'm loving the red too (who would think?).
Thanks guys.. I'd figure another week or so and we should be setup for a small housewarming party. I think we are going to aim for a saturday afternoon/evening type thing so people can use the train to get here.
Nicole -- thanks for the comments on the site. Alot of hard work went in while planning/executing a move. Let me know of any problems you guys have on the site and I'll make sure to fix them.
