Not out of magic.. yet.

With the first two consecutive losses in the last 4+ years coming in the past two weeks the Patriots stock has taken a drastic nosedive. The patriots have some issues they are working on just like every other NFL team.
But Belichick showed that his magical bag of fairy dust is not empty yet as they stomped a mediocre Green Bay Packers team yesterday. The offensive line has some gaps in it some games.. and on days like yesterday it seems like Brady is standing behind a 14 foot high brick wall. The secondary (like usual) is a bit suspect .. but they are playing well not letting up many big plays.. Or at least letting up big plays when it matters.
I will readily admit that Brady's accuracy is a bit off but its been getting better since the start of the season. I will confidently say that no other QB in the league would be doing better with these WR's or if you took away his top two favorite targets. I think its time we stop pointing at Brady as a place where the team needs improvement.
The Patriots upcoming schedule looks more like a scrimage schedule (except for Chicago) which should allow them to work on key problems while still winning games. To be honest the Patriots have a pretty commanding lead in the division and are almost a lock for the playoff's .. or as it is sometimes reffered to as "the second season" because the errors of your past are forgiven and everybody starts 0-0 and are four games to glory.
As they showed sunday .. When they all show up to play .. They can contend with anyone.
In the AFC conference you have 4 of the 5 best teams in football. The Broncos look to be I think the toughest matchup for the Pats and the Chargers being the second toughest. The Bears and Colts I think the Pats could beat without too much trouble.
